Covid-19 Vaccinations
As you are aware we are due to launch Covid Vaccinations for Staff this week and as part of our rollout of the Covid 19 vaccination programme it is really important that we are able to identify all LSCFT staff who would like to receive the vaccine, those who have already done so elsewhere and those who do not wish or are unable to have the vaccine.
Your support with this is vital in helping us plan and shape the vaccination programme. The information you provide will allow us to plan clinics that meet the needs of staff who wish to accept the offer of the vaccine. This will also allow us to plan our support for the wider community including our colleagues in other Health & Social Care agencies, the voluntary sector and care homes.
Please can we ask you to support the effort by completing the very brief form using Trustnet on a LSCft computer. Once you have completed the form the information will ensure that we target those who wish to be vaccinated. For those of you who wish to access the vaccine, we will send further information as soon as appointments become available to book.
The need for you to know your own NHS number
For the Covid vaccination programme there is a need to know your own, personal NHS number. An NHS number is a 10-digit number such as 485 777 3456. Your number is unique to you with details here: What is an NHS number? – NHS (www.nhs.uk)
How to find your NHS number
Documents and letters
You can find your NHS number in most documents or letters sent to you by the NHS, such as your:
- prescriptions.
- test results.
- hospital referral letters.
- appointment letters.
Online
You can find your NHS number online by logging in to:
- the NHS App (you’ll need to register if you have not used it before).
- some GP online services.
Your GP surgery
You can call your GP surgery and ask them what your NHS number is.
You may need to prove your identity over the phone or visit your GP surgery with proof of identity.
